Wednesday Nights 7-8:30PM
Every one of us knows what it means
to have surface friendships, everywhere we turn we can find superficial
relationships and rarely do we go any place deep or meaningful. It’s
easy simply making conversation rather than talking to make a difference.
The truth is that we all are looking for significant relationships,
a safe place where we can be known and encouraged.
One of the reasons our ministry exists is to help students plug in
with other believers in REAL COMMUNITY.
You know what we’ve found out? True community is hard work! It’s not
easy to really love another person—to be authentic, to be transparent,
to be unselfish, and to really care about the other person’s needs...it’s
hard, but it’s worth it.
One of the ways we try to foster these kinds of relationships is through
our small groups. In a small group, you can find a safe place to be
known, cared for, and challenged to grow in your faith. Under the
direction of a caring adult, students have a great opportunity to
practice the kind of loving relationships that Christ talks about.
Anyone can come to one of our small groups AT ANY TIME—there’s no
need to sign up or call first. Our small groups run through the school
year and break for summer.
